Slow local tourism in the Pacific region
Slow tourism stems from the "slow movement" trend, which advocates a change of culture towards a slower pace of life. Slow tourism includes various components: the journey and modes of transport, ecology, on-site activities, meeting others, participation in the local economy. It also includes the dimension of self. The expression "taking time for oneself" then takes on its full meaning.
Because it is a question of travelling to rest, refocus, relieve stress and tension, to calm inner restlessness... . There is a meditative dimension to the practice of holidays in slow mode, because you will be more attentive to yourself and your well-being. Slow travel is therefore not only defined by the way you get from point A to point B. It's about feeling a connection with your destination.
Adopting slow travel is considered by some to be a philosophy of life, which consists of making yourself "at home" in a new environment. The next trip initially scheduled for May 2020 will take place in Moorea, French Polynesia as soon as air links between Noumea and Papetee are established. We will be welcomed at Nathalie's beautiful house with our feet in the water facing the lagoon in Maharepa. This trip/retirement is oriented towards a complete reconnection to the Self through the 5 elements (yoga/food/discovery) and the 7 chakras, in a setting conducive to relaxation, letting go, serenity and conviviality.
Aqua yoga sessions will take place in crystal clear water at a minimum of 28 degrees. Yoga and chakra dancing sessions, meditations, circles will take place on the covered deck of the house facing the lagoon or in "magic" places.
7 days to regain your potential, your vitality, to recharge your batteries, to rest.
